Royal Roads B&B - Accommodation

The Royal Roads Suite is spacious and tastefully decorated and can accommodate up to 4 guests. Guests will marvel at the ever-changing vista through the 10 foot bay window and garden doors just 50 feet from the water. Enjoy the view in a comfortable sitting area which includes TV/DVD/Video and fireplace or from your own patio area outside the garden doors.

Accommodation includes a queen bed and single beds and a fully equipped kitchen. High-speed internet and laundry facilities are also available. Couples traveling together may request a second queen bed.

Royal Roads University students attending short term residency, please request that the suite be adapted to accommodate your study needs. It is a ten minute walk to the university property and a five minute drive.

The Dining Room

Delicious breakfasts with a gourmet touch including souffléd omelets, home-made scones, muffins and fresh fruits are served overlooking the Esquimalt Lagoon Bird Sanctuary. Special dietary requests are accommodated.

Doug began his military career at Royal Roads Military College which is now Royal Roads University. For 35 years he served with the Military Engineers throughout Canada and abroad. Since retiring, he has formed his own consulting company and now accepts short term contracts in such places as Kosovo, Afghanistan and Germany. His interests also include scuba diving, crabbing, prawning, making wine and making sawdust! Jan is a retired ESL teacher and now enjoys focusing on artistic pursuits. Both Jan and Doug enjoy sharing their home with guests from around the world!
